One Dancer Five Movements

This study was painted using violet, green, blue and burnt umber. When using any painting medium, I always mix violets and greens. Lately I have been using pastels and have been giving serious thought to adding green and violet to my painting palette, easier thought about than done. What choices ...I don't trust color chits and the cost of the tubes puts me off experimenting.,,,wish they would sell dabs of this and a pinch of that.
